Designed to be practically hidden in your vehicle, the Mio MiVue R30 is a slim camera unit that fits easily onto your rear-view mirror with a set of elastic grips. The glass back of the camera unit acts as a substitute for your original rear-view mirror and lets the MiVue R30 pass almost unnoticed whilst you capture important footage of the road ahead. The MiVue R30's all-glass mirror also includes an in-built, 4.3” screen that can be turned on and off as needed. This allows you to review footage from your car yet drive undisturbed by the feed when not needed. The camera itself captures incredibly clear and detailed images, thanks to the 1296p HD resolution. With this level of detail, you can be sure of capturing important information that could have otherwise been missed. The camera boasts a 130° viewing angle to take in as much of the road ahead as possible; important for taking note of road signs as you drive or for taking in a wider view of the scenery as you drive along. The camera on the MiVue R30 also provides a warning system that detects and alerts you if you begin to drift out of your lane. This means that the MiVue R30 not only supports you in the case of an accident but also keeps you from harm as much as possible by helping you stay on course. Should an incident occur though, the MiVue R30 has another little feature to add to the captured footage and ensure it is stored safe from being overwritten. The G-sensor within the unit detects a collision, measuring the scale and direction of the impact along with the video footage. It also automatically triggers secure storage of the incident footage to ensure it is not deleted by new data.
