This extension cable from Maypole could be the answer. This lead is 1.5 metres long; allowing it to be suitable for use with a variety of different sized trailers, and comes with double ended connections; both of which are 12 volt connections. The lead itself has been purposely designed to be compatible with trailer and caravan rear lighting systems and lighting boards that use 12v 7 pin N type connections. Although the lead is 2.5m long it comes with a curled cable that allows for ease of storage, and also helps avoid those nasty knotted cables.
