With the secondary coupling or breakaway cable from Maypole you can tow with total confidence, knowing that your caravan or trailer will always be safe and securely attached, even in the unlikely event that it breaks away whilst towing. Made from multi strand steel cable this 1m long security cable from Maypole is strong enough for the job. The cable itself can easily attach the caravan or trailer to the towing vehicle with its hook and eye safety catch, and will be suitable for use with a wide range of caravans, trailers and vehicles. It is also a legal requirement to use a secondary coupling cable when towing an unbraked trailer.
