Maypole’s flux cored Mig welding wire is suitable for these types of situations. Flux cored wire is not only an economical solution for those of you who only weld on the odd occasion, but it is also the perfect solution for outdoor welding as it will still work flawlessly even in light winds which is not possible when using gas. This spool comes with 0.4kg of flux cored steel wire and is 0.9mm thick.
