Towing other cars requires a high level of responsibility and good quality products to ensure you are not posing a risk to yourself and other road users. Tow rope has been the traditional method of doing this, but you must ensure the tow rope is of an excellent quality to guarantee safety.

This Maypole tow rope has a maximum capacity of 2500kg - suitable for average sized cars in the UK (check with the manufacturer to ensure the car weighs 2500kg or less). It has heavy duty forged hooks with safety catches to ensure a secure attachment to the vehicle and being elasticated, the rope reduces snatch and absorbs slack when towing. The length of the rope is 1.75m minimum to 4m maximum stretched and comes with a warning flag, an 'ON TOW' sign, full instructions and a handy storage bag. The rope is also TUV/ GS approved.
